Past Projects :
MTI partners are deeply involved in reaching the world with the message that God does care. Here are examples of how past donations have helped our Teams get this message across to impoverished families and children.

• Housing for 420 homeless families in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
• School Uniforms and shoes to village children in Burma, Cambodia and Thailand
• New concrete floor for school in Thailand to replace mud floor
• Weaving looms for Burmese women to help generate income for their families
• Mosquito nets for Karen families hiding in the jungle
• Feeding and clothing program for street children in Cambodia and Philippines
• Computer Training Suite to train unemployed teenagers on the Thai-Burma border
• 5000 Blankets for impoverished families in the Burma jungle, Cambodia, Philippines and China

Current Projects :
MTI relies on the generosity of Donors to assist in the many Projects that are taking place throughout South East Asia and the Pacific. You can help by supporting the following Current Projects:

1.	General – your donation will be used in area of greatest need

2.	Under Supported Workers – All MTI workers are required to raise their own support in order to live and work in the Field. Some of our workers come from 2nd and 3rd world countries and often under-supported. This Fund is directed to help our under supported Workers in the field, where they are needed.

3.	Specific Project – Alternatively you may direct your donation to one of the following Specific Projects.

Indonesia • Income Generation for Tsunami Survivors . • Learning Centre for Child Survivors . • Medical Clinic for Aceh Families c. Myanmar • Vocational Training Centre. d.Cambodia • Hygiene Health Packs. We believe that teaching street children how to care for themselves is an important step in rescuing them from the poverty cycle. To date we have given out over 10,000 Hygiene packs, teaching children how to brush their teeth, wash their hands and stay healthy. • Education Packs. These packs include a school bag, pencils, rubbers, rulers, writing book and pencil case, and provide an opportunity for every child, to participate in a local school. • Project Freedom Child Abuse Program - Cambodia is a nation of children: 50% of the population under 18. Disturbing reports show many children suffer from sexual predators and child molesters. “The White House” provides a Treatment and Recovery Centre for younger child victims of abuse. • Project Streetwise Food Program - Street Children Feeding Program. MTI teams go into the streets of Phnom Penh where we meet many young children living and working on the street. More than just sharing food, clothes and a prayer, ultimately, we want to see them leave the streets and start a new life in a safe environment.

Mercy Teams International (MTI) is the mercy arm of Operation Mobilization in East Asia and the Pacific. Our vision is to take the love and compassion of God to Asia’s poor and destitute, especially children in crisis. Every amount donated is important. There are many ways to become a financial partner.
