• Hygiene Health Packs. We
believe that teaching street children how to care
for themselves is an important step in rescuing
them from the poverty cycle. To date we have given
out over 10,000 Hygiene packs, teaching children
how to brush their teeth, wash their hands and stay
healthy.
• Education Packs. These
packs include a school bag, pencils, rubbers, rulers,
writing book and pencil case, and provide an opportunity
for every child, to participate in a local school.
• Project Freedom Child Abuse Program
- Cambodia is a nation of children: 50% of the population
under 18. Disturbing reports show many children
suffer from sexual predators and child molesters.
“The White House” provides a Treatment
and Recovery Centre for younger child victims of
abuse.
• Project Streetwise Food Program
- Street Children Feeding Program. MTI teams go
into the streets of Phnom Penh where we meet many
young children living and working on the street.
More than just sharing food, clothes and a prayer,
ultimately, we want to see them leave the streets
and start a new life in a safe environment. |
